Twenty years of building real products.

I'm an electrical engineer with twenty years of product development experience. Most recently, I spent ten years specializing in infrared-based temperature measurement at a medical device company in the Boston area — work that spanned analog and digital circuit design, embedded firmware, sensor integration, and the long road from a working prototype to a manufacturable, compliant product.

My career has also included experience in defense and aviation. It shaped how I think about reliability and rigor, though medical device engineering is where my focus lives today.

What sets the work apart isn't a single specialty — it's range. I can sit at the bench and debug a board, write the firmware that drives it, and then walk onto the manufacturing floor and understand why a design decision made six months ago is now causing yield problems.

From individual contributor to the leadership table

I've operated on both sides of the org chart. As a Director of Engineering, I led an engineering team of ten. As an Operations Manager, I ran a team of twenty-six — owning hiring, performance management, and cross-functional project leadership.

That means I understand both the engineer's perspective and leadership's priorities. I've sat at the table with leadership teams, and I can engage your executives as a peer — not just as a contractor taking a ticket.

The gap between a design that works in the lab and a design that can be made, reliably and at volume, is where products quietly fail. I understand how upstream engineering decisions ripple downstream to the manufacturing floor — and how to make those decisions well the first time. It's a rare combination, and it's the heart of what I offer.
